Connecting People with God
Baglan Community Church

BCC Songwriting

There are a number of people who write contemporary Christian songs at BCC. We regulary sing worship songs composed by some of our members, and we are currently recording them so we can share them with other worshipping churches.

Music Worship at BCC

We believe that it is important for the music used in the worship of God to be contemporary. We therefore use mostly modern songs and the instrumentation also reflects this view.
Music is an important element in our services and we strive for it to be word centred and Spirit-filled with the goal being to worship God with all of the mind, soul and heart - a deep experience of God's presence we also see as being crucial.
Concerts

We have put on a variety of music concerts, many of which have been for the local charities. In July 2005 BCC, in association with Neath/Port Talbot Cancer Challenge, put on a concert for over 600 people at the local theatre.
Some of the more intimate music evenings have a completely Christian emphasis, and the goal is to bless other believers through word and song while at the same time conveying the wonderful message of the gospel to people who are not yet Christians.
